First off your a Cali cat born n bred.. What city are you from and how do you like it?

I was born & raised in San Diego. y'know? This city is like a romantic relationship, homie. looks beautiful from the outside, but from the inside - u see how fucked up life REALLY is, y'feel me?

Yeah i hear ya, OC used to be the American Dream, now its concrete and liquor stores..

Hahaha... i feel that. real talk, here in San Diego - they got a mother fuckin GUN & LIQUOR store. real shit. Hiram's Guns/Liquor in El Cajon. shit's crazy... One Stop Shop if u ask me, hahaha

Now do you see other underground artists coming from your area?

yeah, there's alot of music going on in San Diego. A LOT. & all different kinds too. u got the gangsta rappers, the wicked rappers, the backpack rappers, the commercial rappers... & that's just HIP-HOP, y'know? SD being so diverse in culture, u got a big melting pot with multiple points of view, y'know?

Yeah, and some SubNoize acts as well.. ive seen so many Epic shows down there like Motorhead at Cannes.. you ever play there?

at Cannes? i was in a battle there once.. but Cannes tends to ban local rappers. too much drama & hood politrix for them, i guess.

Hmmm thats interesting, well are there other cool venues and bars to play at in the SD area?

yeah man, there's venues all over So Cal. Matter of fact, i'm doing a show with Insane Poetry on March 19th 2010 at Malone's in Santa Ana.

Oh sweet, imma cruise to that hopefully.. now when you say battle.. are you talking MC and Freestyle battles?

yeah man, yeah. that's how i got my start as a rapper back in like.. 1997...... my brother is older, so he used to sneak me into these clubs & battles & shit.... here i am, like 13-14 years old, battling dudes sometimes 10 years older than me & shit....

Damn man.. thats rad. do you feel that fast action freestyle skills helps your writing?

of course. i mean, nobody out there can ever say they heard me spit a simple bar. y'feel me? with the amount of years i've been rapping & the amount of vocabulary your mind builds up after so many years.... it's crazy. & that's what makes me stand out compared to alot of these dudes in the underground.

Tell us about one of the best shows you played and who was it with on the bill?

man, i've performed with ALOT of people. i've collaborated with ALOT of people too. i mean, anywhere from LIL WAYNE to KOTTONMOUTH KINGS. i've worked with everyone from MARZ, to KEAK DA SNEAK.

Nice.. Any crazy stories you can tell us?

um.. yeah, i got invited to show up to a KMK video that was being filmed in San Diego like... i dunno... YEARS AGO. & can i just say man... i've been high ever since that shit, hahahaha!

Well, being from old skool Rams territory, and then losing our team, i dont really have a home team but i pick superbowl winners each year before season starts and i won last year with steelers and this year i picked vikings and jets

man, let me just say FUCK ELI MANNING while we're at it... but yeah, once SD is outta the shit - i stop paying attention to the superbowl.., only superbowl i fuck with is the OG skunk i got right now. hahaha
