By vote of the juggalos, below is the best album of each year since 1997. We chose that year because that was the first time anyone other than ICP was on the label (not counting Project Born's short stint in 1994). After all, what fun is an awards contest if there's only one group that can win? Not to mention, before 1997, Psychopathic was pretty much only putting out one album per year. Anyway, if you disagree with the results...you shoulda voted.
Year: 2005
And The Winner Is: Twiztid - Man's Myth: Vol. 1
After a relatively quiet 2004 from Twiztid, they hit the scene again hard in 2005 bringing not one, but TWO new albums out in a 2 month span. The second album released, Mutant: Vol. 2 was a rock-album of sorts, but juggalos voted and they were feeling that old-school wicked rap Twiztid more than the rock. So the first of those 2 albums, Man's Myth: Vol. 1 is 2005's Psychopathic Album of the Year. The album was released in June of 2005 and came packaged with a bonus DVD packed full of other Twiztid-freshness as well.

Year: 2004
And The Winner Is: ICP - Hell's Pit
Almost a year after it was originally promised, the second part of the 6th Joker's Card dropped in August of 2004. It was ICP's second highest Billboard debut ever and lived up to the hype of being the most violent and wicked release of their careers. No funny songs here, this shit was all about death, murder, suicide, and hell. Much like the first half of the 6th, it was released in 2 seperate versions with seperate DVDs. One a live concert from the Wicked Wonka Tour, and the other with a 3-D mini-movie entitled "Bowling Balls."

Year: 2003
And The Winner Is: Twiztid - The Green Book
By 2003, Twiztid had finally legitimized themselves as something other than ICP's little side project and juggalos were HYPED for the most anticipated Twiztid release of their careers. Featuring a star-studded guest lineup (E-40, Bushwick Bill, Tech N9ne, etc.), The Green Book was Twiztid's biggest and most important album to date. It hit stores in June and schooled the juggalo world, enough to be voted the best album of 2003 by you, the juggalos.

Year: 2002
And The Winner Is: ICP - The Wraith: Shangri-La
2002 had a few good releases, but none of them had a snowball's chance of competeing with the juggernaut of ICP's most anticipated album of all time. Since 1993, Violent J and Shaggy told the story of the 6 Joker's Cards and on November 5th of 2002, the final chapter in the saga began. And the secret that ICP had kept hidden for 10 years was revealed to all in the last song. The Wraith: Shangri-La hit stores, debuted at #15 on Billboard, and was followed by a worldwide tour, including the first time ICP hit Australia.

Year: 2001
And The Winner Is: Dark Lotus - Tales From The Lotus Pod (Marz)
After years of wait, Dark Lotus finally released it's first album. The last minute addition of Marz to the lineup threw some people for a loop, but there was no denying that it was an incredible album, and the votes proved it. Although the album would be re-released a year later, with Marz's lyrics replaced by news ones from ABK, most juggalos proclaim this to be the best Lotus album ever, and DEFINITELY the best album of 2001.

Year: 2000
And The Winner Is: Twiztid - Freekshow
The year 2000 was the year that Twiztid finally differentiated themselves from ICP, put out an album that truly showed the world that they weren't just clones of the clowns. Freekshow was released on the same day as ICP's 2 albums Bizzar and Bizaar. Although the ICP albums sold more, a lot of juggalos were disappointed. But Twiztid's album was released to RAVE reviews from juggalos and Twiztid proved to the world that Mostasteless wasn't a fluke and that they do, in fact, kick fucking ass.

Year: 1999
And The Winner Is: ICP - The Amazing Jeckel Brothers
Riding the wave of notoriety following the Great Milenko controversy, The Amazing Jeckel Brothers hit at #4 on the Billboard charts, coming in just behind--wait for it--the Backstreet Boys and Ricky Martin (and someone else I can't remember...Britney Spears maybe?). It was an unexpected success that caught the entire music industry by surprise. Of course, the album dropped like a rock from there, but to this day, it remains ICP's highest Billboard chart debut and the album has been certified platinum.

Year: 1998
And The Winner Is: ICP - Forgotten Freshness Vol. 1 & 2
This double-disc album was chock full of rare songs and B-sides. For most juggalos though, this album was all brand new shit. ICP had just hit it big due to the Hollywood Records fiasco, virtually doubling ICP's fanbase overnight, and also, the Internet hadn't reached it's file-sharing prime yet, so even older ICP fans didn't have even half of these songs.

Year: 1997
And The Winner Is: ICP - The Great Milenko
The album that juggalos consider the best Psychopathic release of 1997 is also the album that catapulted ICP to popularity. It's also the most controversial album ever released by Psychopathic. The story regarding the release of The Great Milenko has been covered in detail but if for some reason you don't know it, click here
